Good job on your first OggCast. I love that lead-in song. I’ll be humming it in my head as do battle on the forums. The little technicalities will work themselves out and a format will emerge in time but your personalities and interests are there and that will make TechBytes a contender. You seem to cover my area of interest quite well. I’ll be eagerly awaiting further TechBytes shows. Thank you both for taking the time and effort to make it happen.

You can use Audacity to cancel most of the noise. I used to do it, to improve quality with recorded classes from my teachers. But note, Audacity is a saint but it’s not God. One can improve, but can’t make miracles.

Wow, even on technical matters not related to Microsoft you end up being wrong. Noise isn’t the problem. The problem on your end is overmodulation.

Nice idea. I only listened to about the first 10 minutes though; the listening experience isn’t especially pleasant … particularly the audio quality on Mr. Schestowitz’s end. My only frame of reference is the TuxRadar podcast. I’ll look forward to your next episode and hope the kinks get worked out….
